To design a highly innovative power generation solution using natural gas to fuel gas engines while delivering electricity and thermal energy.
Our involvement
Eneraque installed 6 MWe of power generation and 4 MWe of thermal generation for the hospital based in Auckland, New Zealand. The plant was designed, manufactured and installed by Eneraque and provides energy efficient power to meet the hospital requirements.
Outcome and benefits
It comprises of two 2 MWe Deutz TCG2020 V20 Gas Engines for the provision of Combined Heat and Power (CHP). A 2 MWe standby diesel of the same engine family, provided emergency and black start power. Eneraque delivered the project on time and on budget and to the exact site requirements.
