Eneraque was engaged by a top-tier global mining client to facilitate the design, manufacture, supply, installation & commissioning of 8 x 1500kVA diesel generators. The client required a reliable backup power solution to power mine operations, as well as the remote accommodation camp on site. The camp itself includes multiple kitchens, water treatment plants, accommodation dwellings, administration offices and recreational areas for staff. Eneraque’s response to the client’s tender request was very well received, as the solution proposed completely satisfied all requirements and was able to be delivered to budget and within the designated time frame.

Project Outcomes:

In terms of runtime and convenience, the client required the standby power plant to have the capacity to run for 24 hours continuously. Eneraque was pleased to provide a solution that offered 40 hours of operation without refuelling, increasing ease of operation and decreasing the labor intensity needed to provide reliable standby power to the camp and mine.
