Due to continued growth, we are seeking an exceptional Business Development Manager to join our team. This is a permanent full-time position, based in our Brisbane Head Office, with travel when required.

About the Role

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with clients, and developing strategies to achieve the company’s growth targets. This role requires a proactive and strategic thinker with a passion for driving business success.

Key Duties include:

  • Provide focused BDM and closing sales in the diesel power generation sectors throughout Australia
  • Identifying potential clients and business opportunities within the diesel power generation sector.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing clients to ensure long-term partnerships.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Prospect management, strategising and sales closing
  • Generate leads through networking, cold calling, and attending industry events to gain opportunities for Eneraque.

About you

You are a trustworthy and reliable professional with a passion for driving business success. Ideally, you come with a relevant industry background and a proven track record in business development.

You will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, business admin or a related field highly regarded.
  • Pipeline CRM experience
  • High level contract negotiation experience
  • Face to face selling experience
  • Experience in Networking
  • Marketing and product development research experience
  • Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail and have the ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively.
  • The ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including persuasive abilities and prospecting techniques
  • The ability to identify customer needs in a challenging market
