About the role
We are looking for a Project Engineer to assist with managing and monitoring the completion of projects to ensure budget, quality, environmental and contractual obligations are achieved.
Duties include:
- Assisting with preparation of schedules, cost estimates, and project baselines
- Skilled in schedule control, and cost control by utilising Earned Value Management (EVM) techniques
- Liaising with clients and suppliers
- Coordination of various activities
- Assisting with the procurement management by providing the required standards and specifications for the manufacturers and the suppliers
- Monitoring and reporting on project progress against timelines and budget
- Providing guidance on the project risks and opportunities
- Supervising the fabrication process
- Coordinate the preparation of documentation as required including the Quality Plan, Safety Plan, Environmental Plan, Inspection & Test Plan etc
- Attend Risk Assessment meetings, HAZOPs, Failure Mode Effect Analysis(FEMA), Safety Integrity Level (SIL) etc
- Assisting with Factory assembly, testing, and commissioning across Australia and New Zealand
- Occasional site visits across Australia and New Zealand
About you
- Degree in Project Management or Engineering
- Experience in bespoke project management software packages
- Experience with construction works supervision, relevant Australian and New Zealand regulations, and standards
- Able to prioritise tasks and meet set deadlines
- Experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills
- Available to travel across Australia and New Zealand
