About the role
Eneraque is looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join the team in Brisbane on a permanent basis reporting to the engineering manager. The role would suit someone who is self-motivated, a constructive thinker and someone looking for a challenge. Eneraque is going through growth, and design work is critical to the strategy behind this growth. The role is not mundane, with each project being varied and different, whilst still tying in the company’s streamline approach to the production process.
- Creation, process, design, development, and analysis of each project.
- Developing/reviewing preliminary designs and generating manufacturing drawings
- Compiling of finalised designs for both internal and external manufacturing.
- Create BOMs from designs and generate job packs/drawings for for the workshop, site installation team and clients.
- Monitor projects to ensure scheduled dates are delivered.
About the successful candidate
- 5+ years’ experience working in mechanical design engineering.
- You will have a Diploma of Mechanical Engineering or similar tertiary education
- Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of mechanical assembling techniques
- Ensure all products adhere to guidelines as per all applicable AS & ADR requirements
- Have proficient demonstrated knowledge of Solidworks and Autocad
- 5 years of Revit & solid works experience
- Substantial knowledge of mechanical engineering and manufacturing practices to be able to apply these to our designs
- Have ongoing working rights in Australia
- Ability to work in a team environment
